Another example of a pristine blade, this one by the maker “WKC”, also exhibiting a nice age tone to all of the fittings.  The yellow-orange, type-C grip is in near excellent condition, with just a barely noticeable 5mm hairline crack near the pommel on the reverse.  correct pommel/ferrule, second-pattern “Tomahawk” eagle crossguard, thin blade washer. Bright finish, polished blade retains a fine crossgrain and stamped “WKC” helmeted knights head trademark.  The scabbard is equally nice with a dark tone in the pebbled recesses and oakleaves, perfectly matching the dagger fittings, straight and dent-free, with a single flat-head screw on one side.

An Eickhorn with a dark orange grip that is perfect, no cracks, discoloration or chips, looking like it just came out of the Eickhorn factory.  Second-pattern rossguard and pommel/ferryke fittings are of similar quality, exhibiting a nice, darker toning.  The blade, which is marked with the Eickhorn squirrel logo, is exceptionally clean and free of runner marks but does have some very minor age spotting, including near the tip. Scabbard is excellent with no dents or scratches and fits the condition of the blade perfectly.

Heer Officer’s Dagger, Named

Nicely age toned Heer Officer dagger with a pumpkin orange celluloid grip and dark toned scabbard.  The blade is in good condition, maker marked to “F.W. Holler” and has their typical proof mark.  The crossguard is engraved with the owner’s name, “HAUPTMANN Dr. VOLZ” and “08051”  The scabbard is in good condition with no dents and even age toning.  Includes a set of hangers and portapee knot, which is frayed around the crossguard loop.

An excellent condition, orange gripped 2nd model with an exceptionally clean blade that is near-mint and manufacturer marked to Tiger Solingen.  The fittings and pommel all have a very nice, even light tone.  The grip is free of cracks or chips and has an intact wire wrap.  The scabbard is dent-free, also with very attractive matching tone and compliments the dagger rather nicely.

2nd Model Luftwaffe Officer’s Dagger

A great looking orange gripped 2nd model with an exceptionally clean blade that is near-mint.  The fitting and pommel are nice, bright silver with just very light tone.  The grip has a small, 5mm, hairline crack near the pommel on the reverse and a tiny chip, but is otherwise excellent with intact wire wrap.  The blade is un-marked. The scabbard is dent-free and retains nearly all of its dark burnishing.  Overall a very nice example.

Kriegsmarine Officer’s Dagger, Puma

A nice example of a 2nd model Kriegsmarine dagger produced by the Puma firm, which is rarely encountered.  A carefully acid-etched blade with a very bright finish which nicely contrasts with the fouled anchor motif and enhances the excellent condition of the blade itself.  The reverse features the Puma cat-head logo on the ricasso, below a red felt washer. The gilded brass cross guard and pommel are in great condition and the ivory-colored grip with brass wire wrap is near-perfect.  The scabbard is dent-free and has that nice, even copper-color tone in the recesses.

RAD Leaders Hewer, Eickhorn

A minty example of a Leaders dagger that would be hard to upgrade.  The blade is in pristine condition with a nice bright finish and no spotting or runner marks as it was carefully stored away from the scabbard. The silver fittings are equally nice with just very minimal wear and are nicely enhanced by the white trylon grips of which there is a tiny, 3mm chip to the obverse under the eagles head.  The blade is marked to “Eickhorn” and has the squirrel logo. The scabbard is straight and free of dents, a nice, bright silver finish with just a touch of toning in the pebbled finish.

A solid example of an enlisted hewer in very good to excellent condition with a very clean and bright blade and crisp, etched motto. Reverse of blade is maker-marked to “Carl Jul. Krebs – Solingen” along with the RADJ proof mark and “Ges. Gesch”. Stag grips are in excellent condition and screw heads intact.  The scabbard fittings are nice and bright and match the hewer, the scabbard exhibits evidence of cleaning. Both the hewer and scabbard are marked “ 1181”.  A nice example.

Heavy hewer blade with etched motto, maker’s logo “Eickhorn” and acceptance stamp, in decent condition with some runner marks. Nickel-plated hilt with staghorn grip plates.  Scabbard is black lacquered steel with a few nicks and abrasions to the paint, nickel plated fittings are all in good order.  A nice, solid piece in average to above condition.

Social Welfare Officials Dagger

A beautiful example of a Social Welfare dagger that is in excellent condition and displays very nicely. The blade is in pristine condition with a nice bright finish and no spotting or runner marks as it was carefully stored away from the scabbard. The silver fittings are equally nice with just very minimal wear and tone.  The orange celluloid grips are perfect without any scratches or cracks. There is no maker-mark on the blade, as is the case with all of these. The scabbard is also in exceptional condition, straight and free of dents, a nice, bright silver finish and flawless pebbled finish.

Hitler Youth Leader Dagger

A very rare Leaders dagger for the older personnel and leaders in charge of training and education of the Hitler Youth.  The blade is in excellent condition, marked “M7/36” for the firm of E.F. Horster and etched “BLUT UND EHRE!”.  The grip wire is tight and intact, the leather scabbard is very clean and the fittings all have a nice, even age tone to them.  The grip is loose, which is reflective in the price. Overall a very nice example showing a bit of age tone and at a nice price.

Government Officials Dagger

This Government Officials dagger is marked to the maker Alcoso and is in overall very good to excellent condition with a nicely age-toned, plated silver eagles head pommel wrapped with simulated mother-of-pearl grips.  A right-facing diplomatic eagle decorates the crossguard and has a nice, matching dark tone.  The blade is in excellent condition, nice and bright, no rust, and features the Alcoso logo and scale on the reverse.  Scabbard is free of dents or scratches and has good detail.

Beautiful example of the Technische Nothilfe Leaders dagger in excellent condition and adorned with an aluminum portapee.  Both the scabbard and blade have matching numbers “0637” and the blade is etched with the Eickhorn squirrel logo and TeNo national emblem.  Orange celluloid grip with TeNo eagle on the lower crossguard and a nicely toned cogwheel pommel.  Blade is excellent with cross graining and no runner marks.  Scabbard is dent-free and has nice detail and matching tone.

A rare “full Rohm” dagger, with the blade maker marked to “ANTON WINGER Jr.” and showing the full Rohm inscription one the reverse side and motto on the obverse. Crossguard is marked “He”.  Both the dagger and scabbard exhibit quite a bit of wear and pitting as you will see in the photos so I would rate it in overall average-minus condition and priced accordingly.

SS M33 Dagger

Black SS M33 Service Dagger of later manufacture, exhibiting some overall wear.  Black grips feature the enameled SS runics and eagle, but have a large chip at the upper crossguard, which wraps around to the rear. The crossguard fittings show some pitting and have lost plating in places. The blade has the SS motto and has runner marks and spotting. Scabbard itself has most all the black paint, though there are small scratches, chips and some small cracking.  The scabbard fittings are dent-free and also exhibit some pitting, scratches and lost plating.

An exceptionally nice example of a doves head sword manufactured by Eickhorn. Underneath the crossguard is marked “Ges. Gesch.” and the Eickhorn squirrel logo is marked on the reverse of the blade. Washer intact. The crossguard, knuckle bow, backstrap and ferrule have a nice, bright gilt finish that is near-mint with a finely detailed oakleaf pattern. Bright black grip with silver-twist wire intact. Obverse langet with a Wehrmacht eagle, reverse langet shield with black engraved initials “JS”. Blade is very clean and was stored for separately from the scabbard for decades.  The scabbard retains 98% of it’s black lacquer finish. Total length in scabbard is approximately 96.5cm.

Nice, lightly-age toned sword with aluminum hilt, crossguard and pommel with gilt sunwheel swastika. Blue-grey Moroccan leather grip with dual-strand brass twist wire fully intact. Underside of crossguard has engraved initials “J.A.S.”  Washer is intact. Blade is exceptionally clean and marked to “SMF Solingen”.  Scabbard of blue, pebbled Moroccan leather with hanger, fittings have some dark toning. Total length in scabbard is approximately 92cm.

Police NCO Sword

As is the case with many of these swords that came from a single collector, this example is in excellent condition, with the nickel-plated hilt fittings in near-new condition, with just some very light patina to the ferrule.  The black wooden grip is free of cracks or chips with just very slight surface wear, the inset Police eagle exhibiting a darkened patina. The polished steel blade is pristine and had been stored outside of the scabbard. The obverse of the blade is manufacturer marked to Clemen & Jung with the shield and inset “Z”, the black washer is intact.  The scabbard retains 95% of it’s black lacquer finish, with some random scratches and chips. Police Officer Sword

If you are looking for a mint condition example of a Police officer’s sword, this is about as close as you can get, an exquisite example that is near perfect.  The nickel-plated hilted fittings all have a bright, silver finish, the black wood grip and silver bands are perfect, the inset Police eagle with just a bit of darkening that compliments the black/silver of the grip. The polished steel blade has just the very lightest runner marks near the tip but is an overall pristine example and had been stored free of the scabbard.  The obverse is manufacturer marked to Paul Weyersberg & Co and the leather washer is intact.  The scabbard black lacquer paint is 99% intact and almost perfect. The plated silver fittings are nice and bright, the throat is marked with SS runic inspection stamp.  Total length in scabbard approximately 93cm.

Police Weimar Clamshell Bayonet

A nicely presenting long bayonet with the brass finish variation to the fittings, manufactured by WKC with the Knight’s head logo. Clamshell and hilt are brass with the clamshell depicting an eagle with slightly spread wings, there is a six-sided Weimar star in silver set within the obverse of the staghorn grip.  The polished blade is in excellent condition.  Scabbard leather and brass fittings are also excellent to near-mint.  An exceptional piece!

A variant brass fitting hunting knife (also known as a cutlass), of nickel silver and ornately decorated with an acorn nut tang, deer leg crossguards and fluted clamshell, all in brass.  The grip is staghorn with brass pommel. The blade is stamped on the ricasso side with the ACS logo for the firm Alexander Coppel of Solingen and features an etched floral motif on each side.  The scabbard is black leather with brass fittings.  This piece is in excellent condition with some very nice dark toning to the silver.
