1939 Iron Cross 1st Class

Nice cross with light wear and toning to the silver frame.  Black paint on inner core is all intact.  Reverse has the wide pin and catch.  No maker markings but is thought to be a Mayer example.

Luftwaffe General’s Dagger Hangers

Extremely rare Luft General’s Deluxe dagger hangers. Gold finish shows very light wear with a beautiful, aged gilt finish.  RZM marked with “UE 10” & “DRGM”.  Fabric straps in very good to excellent condition on front with light wear to the velvet backing.

Rare out of print book by Stephen Previtera.  An outstanding effort in reference solely dedicated to the study of the Iron Cross and its related family of awards (Knights Cross, Oakleaves, Swords, Diamonds, German Cross, Spange’s, etc.).  Many detailed photographs showing manufacturing characteristics of attributed awards.  Excellent book and collectible in its own right.



The History of the Prussian Pour le Merite Order Vol.III

Must have reference for the Pour le Merite (Blue Max) appreciator or collector.  This volume details all the recipients of the award during World War One.  Each recipient is listed with a story describing the actions which led to the award of the PLM.  There is also background information on the award plus a section showing pictures of actual awards by maker.
