Political Leader Belt & Buckle

Gilt buckle and brown leather belt for a Political Leader.   The gold buckle is RZM and maker-marked M4 / 39 and still has most of the gilt finish with some wear at the high points to the eagle and top of the wreath.  The wide, brown leather belt is in very good condition and is un-marked.  Belt length is approximately 93cm.

Black Wool Breeches

Very high quality, black tricot wool officer breeches.  Five button front with a tape closure at the waist.  Two slit angled front pockets with button closures.  Rear has single right side back pocket with button closure.  Rear seat and crotch heavy cloth reinforcement.  Calves have four button closure.  Extremely nice quality and stamped on the interior waistband though the stamp is illegible.

Luftwaffe Unteroffizier Document Grouping

A small award and promotion document grouping all named to an Unteroffizier in the Luftwaffe serving in Jagdgeschwader 5, who was shot down on June 11, 1944 shortly after the Normandie invasion.  The grouping includes a Promotion document, an award certificate for the Iron Cross Second Class, and four documents pertaining to his death.  This grouping originally accompanied the officers uniform tunic, which was at some point years ago was sold separately.

Luftwaffe Trumpet Banner

A regimental trumpet banner for the 4th Flak Regiment of the Luftwaffe.  The base of the banner is a red, woven cotton double-sided flag with a embroidered eagle on the obverse and “FL –RGT 4” on the reverse.  The four sides are edged in gold metallic fringe.  The interior of the eagle and lettering is a gold brocade-like material, edged in a dark brown/black stitching.  There are three red cloth tie straps for attaching the banner to the trumpet.  The banner is in over all very good condition, with a small hole in the upper left obverse and a couple of muted stains.

Gold Swastika/Arrow Lapel Pin

A very interesting 10 karat gold lapel pin for an unknown use.  It consists of a swastika with a pin and clasp attachment, marked “10K” and with two maker initials “R” and “S”, each in a circle, which connects by a chain to an arrow, which also has a pin and clasp.  Includes a small hinged case (which may be of modern vintage).

Luftwaffe Flight Troops White Summer EM/NCO Visor Cap

White summer visor hat for an enlisted man or NCO serving in the branch of Flight/Paratroops.  Cap body is white, waffle pattern cotton with a small rust color stain to the left front crown and some general age discoloration, as most of these white caps do.  The cap band is piped in golden yellow for flight units.  Insignia consists of a metal stamped eagle and metal wreath which is nicely formed around the cap band.  The interior is un-lined and has a sweatband that is maker marked to “Erel”.

Gendarmerie Polizei Field Cap

Police grey-green wool visorless field cap for enlisted personnel serving in the Gendarmerie, or Rural Field Police.  Cap is 1936 pattern with orange piped crown and machine woven police eagle in white on a black backing.  The interior is a brown cotton twill and is stamped size “56” and also has a name hand-inked next to the size stamp.  Excellent condition with very little to no wear.

Heer Artillery Enlisted Field Cap

Field grey wool field cap (feldmutze) for an enlisted man or NCO in the artillery branch of service.  A white machine woven national eagle over a green backing is hand sewn to the front of the cap as is the national cockade and red artillery piping.  The cap body is in very good condition with one small hole to the back on the wearers right side.  The interior is a brownish cotton twill and shows a moderate amount of soiling around the circumference due to sweat and one very small hole.  There are no size or maker stamps.

Heer Officer’s M43 Field Cap

Field grey model 43 field cap for use by an officer in the Heer.  Base cap is made from a very high quality, soft fine tricot wool and is in excellent condition with no damage.  The earflaps are secured at the front by two silver pebbled buttons and the crown of the cap is piped in aluminum mesh wire.  The insignia consists of a dark green trapezoid with officer quality silver machine embroidered eagle and cockade, correctly applied.  The interior is lined in a light green artificial silk rayon and size stamped “57”.

Heer M42 Field Cap for Panzer

A very rarely encountered model 42 field cap in black wool for use by Panzer troops.  Cap body is made from a very fine, high quality tricot patterned wool with one ventilation grommet on each side.  The ear flaps are secured at the front by two black painted pebbled buttons, showing some minor scuffing.  The insignia consists oe a one piece “T” shaped machine embroidered national eagle and cockade correctly applied.  The interior is lined in a gold/brown artificial silk rayon material and maker stamped.  A hard to find hat!

Luftwaffe Officers Field Cap

High quality officers field cap constructed from a soft, doeskin wool (instead of regulation tricot).  The cap body is in great condition with no issues and piped around the edge with aluminum mesh piping. Cap insignia consists of an enlisted eagle and cockade hand sewn to the front.  Interior of the hat is a gray brushed cotton and has a size stamping of “57”.  Overall excellent condition showing minimal wear.

Heer Artillery Reserve Officer Waffenrock

Standard pattern parade dress Waffenrock for an Oberleutnant der Reserve of the 20th Flak Regiment.  High quality, fine twill wool tunic showing no soiling, wear, damage or moth holes in near mint condition.  The insignia is of a very high quality with a spectacular hand embroidered officer breast eagle.  Shoulderboards have a secondary underlay color of grey, beneath the red flak color.  Grey is indicative of a reserve officer.  There are loops for a ribbon bar on the left top breast and two sets of award loops on the lower breast. All buttons are present and matching and all insignia is consistent in age.  The tunic is named (label not originally photographed, contact for a photo of the name tag).

Heer Infantry Waffenrock and Marksman Lanyard

Very clean, minty parade dress waffenrock for an nco unteroffizier in the infantry.  Tunic is made from a very high quality doeskin wool, piped in white around the collar, cuffs, front panel and rear vent scallops.  Insignia is all of the highest quality and still retains a nice, bright finish.  The shoulderstraps are sewn into the shoulder seam and affixed with a buttons impressed with the unit# “3”. There are loops for a ribbon bar and single breast badge. Also attached to the tunic (and included) is a first pattern Grade Two Marksman lanyard.  This is an absolutely flawless tunic with no holes or abrasions and displays beautifully.

Heer Infantry Officer Waffenrock

Parade dress Waffenrock tunic for a Feldwebel in the 70th Infantry Regiment.  High quality, soft doeskin wool tunic showing no soiling, but it does have a few moth holes, one at the waist (which would be covered by a dress belt) and a pattern of holes on the lower left front side panel.  Tunic has a printed name tag at the back neck to “Feldwebel Hennig” and includes other unit information.  Interior also has numerous size and manufacturer stamps.  Shoulder straps have regimental ciphers and are attached by unit marked buttons. Very clean piece which displays nicely.  It is a smaller size, so it will not fit all mannequins (it was photographed on a standard ethafoam mannequin torso).

U.S. WWI Uniform Grouping

Complete uniform for a Lieutenant of Artillery in WWI, to include the four pocket tunic, breeches, piped overseas cap and brown belt and cross strap. Tunic and pants are made of a high quality olive whipcord wool fabric and in excellent condition with no visible holes or damage.  One button has fallen off (but is in the hip pocket), otherwise it’s near perfect. Silver, beveled rank bars are pinned to each shoulder, the collar has black matte regimental and national insignia.  Comes with a WWI Victory medal and ribbon bar pinned to the tunic.  Sidecap is a heavier wool material in a finer weave with red piping and a silver, ribbed rank bar pinned to the front left side.
