This SIGNUM MEMORIAE medal was issued to members of the
Austro-Hungarian armed forces on 21 October 1898 on the occasion of the 50th
anniversary of the reign of Emperor Franz Joseph I. This particular example is a rare,
gold-plated bronze which still shows a nice, bright gold finish. |
