Serbia 1913 Milos Obilic Medal for Bravery, in Gold

This is the larger 36mm gold version awarded to officers for acts of bravery on the field of battle during the liberation of Northern provinces (Slovenia).  Medal appears to be one of the gilt-bronze versions.

This is the smaller 30mm silver version awarded to NCO’s and other ranks for acts of bravery on the field of battle during the liberation of Northern provinces (Slovenia). Medal appears to be a silver-plated bronze example as the silver has darkened and worn off the high points.

Poland 10 Years Long Service “Zloty”

The Polish Long Service Medal, or Medal za Dlugoletnia Sluzbe, was awarded  for long service in the armed forces, police, fire sevice, education, justice, central or local administration. The bronze version was for 10 years of service.

Known as the Medal Za Udzial w Walkach o Berlin, this Polish medal was issued to commemorate the soldiers of the People’s Army that fought in the Battle of Berlin in April/May 1945 and all other soldiers of the Polish Army during that period.

Austria 1898 50 Year Anniversary Jubilee Medal

This SIGNUM MEMORIAE  medal was issued to members of the Austro-Hungarian armed forces on 21 October 1898 on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the reign of Emperor Franz Joseph I.  This particular example is a rare, gold-plated bronze which still shows a nice, bright gold finish.

Latvia 10th Anniversary of the Battles for the Liberation of the Republic with Swords

This medal was instituted during 1928 as an award to Latvian citizens and those who served in the national army during War of Liberation from 1918 to 1920 as well as those who supported them. Rare swords version.

The Serbia Commemorative Cross was instituted in December 1920 and was awarded to Serbian and Montenegrin military personnel who participated in World War I as well as Allied military who made contributions to the liberation of Serbia.

Serbia Day Medal 1916

This Serbian medal was issued on Serbia Day, 25 June 1916, for contributions to the charitable relief fund for Serb refugees set up following the invasion and over-running of Serbia by Austrian and Bulgarian forces in 1915.
