shows some use and age with some soiling and a small hole to the top, and
some moth nips to the rear cap band and piping. The interior lining has some wear and
abrasion and sweat staining to the sweatband. |

the reverse with a tan checkered underside. Both the eagle and wreath insignia is very nice, hand-embroidered silver-aluminum bullion.
The interior is lined in a gold rayon, the celluloid sweatshield
is intact and has the silver foil “Erel” manufacturer logo. The
sweatband is soft, pliable light-brown leather and is also marked in silver
foil to “Erel”. A great cap with the desirable bullion insignia

been removed. The sweatband is a brown, pliable, soft leather which has come
loose at one side. There is some
burn damage to the front of the cap and the eagle, as well as a few small
abrasions across the top of the cap.
This appears to be a field-worn cap with the resulting character. |

Cap Field grey, wool tricot cap body,

cap band. The exterior cap body
exhibits no damage, soiling or snags, though the piping does have minor
fraying and repairs. The cap eagle and wreath are both machine-applied, the
black leather visor is nice and pliable.
The interior lining is a gold rayon with an intact celluloid sweatshield that has a maker mark in gold stamping. The
sweatband is a brown ersatz leather, which is stiff and brittle from
age. Sonderfuhrer

Visor Cap Beautiful saddle shaped visor cap
piped in lime green for an officer serving in the Panzergrenadiers. Cap body is made from a high quality,
soft twill tricot wool and does not have any mothing,
holes or abrasions. Matching
bright aluminum national eagle emblem and wreath/cockade decorate the cap
along with silver bullion chincords. Visor is vulkanfibre

Heer Infantry Officer’s Dutch-made, Sun Bleached Tropic Used Visor Cap Heer Infantry officers
tricot visor, originally field grey but heavily sun bleached from heavy light
exposure, indicating possible tropical service. This cap was made in Holland
and discoloration and fading of the cap bodies on these hats is typical due
to the lower quality cloth utilized in the construction. Insignia consists of
bullion eagle and wreath/cockade with aluminum chincord
and pebbled buttons. Interior is
lined in brown artificial silk and shows a moderate amount of wear and
soiling from use. Sweatshield is intact, but damaged. Exterior shows a fair
amount of wear and soiling. The
original field gray color is visible in areas not directly exposed to the sun
(under the folds towards the side and back). |

Allgemeine SS NCO Visor Cap, Named This is a nice example of an
Allgemeine NCO visor, in superb condition, and named. The cap body is made of
very fine, black tricot wool with a tall peak, the cap band also of tricot
wool with the weave running in the opposite direction, piped in white around
the top and band. The chinstrap is black leather with a buckle at the center
and adjustment buckles at each side, retained by black painted buttons. The later pattern silver finish
insignia appears to be a Deschler skull and Wagner eagle and looks to be
original to the hat, as there is no evidence of previous insignia attachment
to the lining. Nice, clean black lacquered visor with an orange, checkered
underside with the proper SS/RZM black stamp. The inside top is orange oil
cloth, the sides lined in a lighter brown cloth, the celluloid shield is
intact with no cracks or breaks. Under the shield are gold foil SS runes,
above that the size stamp “58”, and inserted in the shield pocket
is a handwritten owner name tag “Wilh. Winde SS Sturm 5/10 Ludwigshafenl Rh”. The sweatband is light-brown
leather with an issue stamp on the underside. There is a black oil cloth
SS/RZM tag underneath with the manufacturer stamp “81”. |

with a swept back peak, giving it a bit of a crushed look. The body is
constructed of a fine field-gray wool, piped in
white with a black velvet cap band and in very good condition with the only
exception being a small hole at the rear of the cap underneath the fold,
which isn’t visible on display. The black lacquered visor has an
orange, checkered underside, the silver-aluminum chincords
fit nicely. The metal eagle and skull insignia show consistent wear and age
to the silver frosting. The lining is a gold-bronze artificial silk with an
intact sweatshield, no maker markings. The light brown sweatband is
ventilated at the forehead and secured by a metal button at the rear, with

Allgemeine SS Officer Visor Cap An excellent, clean example of a Allg.SS officer visor. The body is constructed of a fine black wool, piped in white with a black velvet cap
band and in excellent condition with no holes or moth damage. The black
lacquered visor has an orange, checkered underside with the typical black
SS/RZM stamp, the silver-aluminum chincords fit
nice and tight. The 2nd pattern metal eagle and skull insignia
show consistent wear and age to the silver frosting, though may be
replacements as holes indicate previous insignia. The lining is a black
artificial silk with an intact sweatshield and a
paper size tag of “57 ½” inserted. The brown leather sweatband is
ventilated at the forehead and secured by a white stitch at the rear. There is a tear to
the sweatband on one side.
Underneath the sweatband is a white paper SS/RZM tag with the
manufacturer number “143”, for August Müeller. Approximate size 56cm. |

edelweiss attached to the left cap band towards the rear of the hat. The interior lining is the typical
rust brown textured muslim top with gold foil SS
runes, brown/orange rayon pleated side lining and a soft tan leather

white summer visor hat for an officer in the Luftwaffe. Waffle pattern white, removable top,
with very light age related discoloration and
soiling throughout, as most of these typically have. The base visor has a
mohair center band piped in silver-aluminum, with silver-aluminum chincords attached by silver pebbled buttons. The
insignia is hand-embroidered in silver-aluminum, the removable breast eagle
on a white backing with metal prongs on the reverse for attachment. The visor
has the typical green checkered underside. The lining is a cream-colored rayon
with a fully intact sweatshield with the maker mark
in gold lettering underneath. |

Heer Infantry Officer’s Visor Cap An almost stonemint
Heer Infantry officers visor cap by the small cap-maker
“Beschorner”. The cap
is a very soft, extremely high quality doeskin wool
in mint condition. Insignia
consists of an aluminum eagle and hand embroidered bullion wreath with metal
cockade and aluminum officers chincord and pebbled
buttons. The interior is mint with a 100% clean, intact and minty sweatshield.
The cap is absolutely flawless except for a
crack in the sweatband at the forehead area where some idiot pulled it down
to look underneath. There is a
reason why sometimes you can’t do “under the hood”

Heer Panzer Officer’s Visor Cap Another great Panzer
officer’s visor, this one by the well
known maker “Clemens Wagner”. The cap body is a
very fine tricot wool and is in excellent condition with absolutely no
flaws. In fact
the entire exterior is mint. Insignia consists of an aluminum eagle and
wreath with metal cockade and silver aluminum bullion chincords. I would also rate the interior very
high, at a near-mint as there is some very light
soiling to the sweatband and you can see a slight shadow on the lining where
the owners name tag used to sit. Sweatshield
is 100%. |

Heer Field Police Crusher Cap This is something you don’t
see too often…an orange piped Heer crusher visor for the Field Police
units. Cap body is a coarser
grade of doeskin wool but is very clean with no issues. The cap band has a couple of holes in
the wool toward the back of the cap, as well as for chincord
buttons on the side. The leather
visor has some very nice crazing to it.
Insignia is non-standard for a crusher and consists of hand
embroidered bullion eagle, wreath and cockade. The interior is in excellent condition
with some slight discoloration to the lining and the sweatshield
missing but maker marked on the lining. |

in the Transport/Supply branch of service. The cap body is a medium grade doeskin
